PEACE OF MIND

Being away from your furry companion can feel nerve wracking, but when you choose to do it with professionals who can provide medical treatment at a moment’s notice if necessary, you can do it with peace of mind.

Most boarding facilities and pet hotels aren’t equipped to handle medical emergencies or handle health issues. When boarding your pet with a trusted veterinary hospital, veterinary treatment staff will be available to assess the nature of your pet’s health continually and provide emergency treatment in real time should it become necessary.

A TYPICAL DAY …

DOGS

We like to start the mornings by taking the dogs out for some fresh air and an outdoor run before having breakfast. While the pups are outside, we disinfect and clean their kennels, stocking them with fresh linens, and clean water and food bowls. After their morning exercise and potty break, they are served their breakfast.

Depending on your dog’s physical ability and the state of their health, we will take them for some exercise outdoors on a regular schedule of 3 times a day. Exceptions are made for pets who are sick and or dealing with parasitic infections.

Your dog will also be supervised by our staff throughout the entire day – both during exercise and when resting. When the evening rolls around, we take them on one final walk for the day, before having dinner and going to bed.

CATS

When feeding your cat, we will rely on your specifications and their personal requirements to try to mimic their home routine as much as we possibly can.

We love to give every single kitty one-on-one time (if they want it) filled with snuggles, play and pets. We periodically monitor, clean and disinfect litter boxes throughout the day.

Our cat boarding area is kept separate from the dog area to make sure your feline companion feels comfortable and safe during their time with us.

MEDICAL BOARDING

Our highly trained, qualified veterinary staff members will continually monitor your pet, administer their medications and watch them very closely while in our care. Any medications your furry companion needs will be administered following the same schedule they are used to at home.

FAQS ABOUT PET BOARDING

What are the costs for boarding my pet? Any hidden fees?

Our boarding fees per night range from $30 – $35 depending on whether you choose our ‘Kennel’ or ‘Run’ option. (Larger pets may automatically be required to book a larger kennel).

Our day boarding (doesn’t stay overnight) is $25 per pet, per day.

Any pets receiving meds or insulin are assessed a medication administration fee of $5.00 per treatment.

Are there any vaccination requirements?

We require the following vaccinations/preventative care for all dogs:

  • Bordetella
  • Distemper/Parvo
  • Rabies
  • Influenza
  • Fecal exam to check for intestinal parasites
  • Deworming

And the following vaccinations/preventative care for all cats:

  • Distemper (FVRCP)
  • Rabies
  • Fecal exam to check for intestinal parasites
  • Deworming

If your pet does not have one or more of the required preventative care items, they will be required to receive them at check-in, in which case, you will be provided a written estimate at check-in and required to pre-pay for those services.

Do you offer payment plans?

At this time, we do not offer any payment plan options. All clients must pre-pay in full for all preventative care and boarding services. We do accept all major credit cards, cash, and CareCredit and ScratchPay.

What time should I drop off and pick up my pet?

When scheduling your boarding appointment, our team members will discuss check-in and pick-up times with you.

What accommodations and amenities do you have?

We have everything your pet may need for a fun, comfortable, and safe stay, including the following amenities and accommodations:

  • Individual space for each pet
  • Climate-controlled kennels
  • Clean towels, blankets, and bowls
  • Comfy, cozy beds for each guest
  • Individual space for each pet
  • Ample daily playtime with staff
  • Outdoor play area
  • Daily walks
  • A separate boarding area for cats
  • Special diet accommodations
Is there a limit to the number of pets I can board at one time?

Nope! We’d be happy to board all of your furry friends (as our availability permits). We require pets to be housed in individual kennels so that our team members may accurately monitor food and water intake, track urine and bowel movements, and properly assess your pets’ health while in our care.

What should I pack for my pet?

We have everything your pet may need for a joyous and safe stay with us. If your pet is on special food, please bring that with you. If not, they will be fed our maintenance diet. We don’t recommend bringing any personal belongings with you on the day of your appointment. We do not guarantee that bedding or toys will be left with your pet in their kennel or returned to you upon pick-up. Our staff will use their discretion to determine which items are safe to leave with the pet in their kennel.

What if my pet is on medication?

If your pet is on any kind of medication, bring it with you, and we will  administer their medications on the same schedule as they’re being given at home (or as close as possible).

Can I get updates on my pet during their stay?

Of course! If you request it, we are happy to provide regular updates during your pet’s stay with us. If anything comes up that seems alarming or concerning regarding your pet’s health, we will notify you immediately.

How should I prepare for my pet’s stay?

Review your pet’s vaccination and preventative care records and make sure everything is updated before your visit. The only thing we would recommend bringing with you is pet food if your pet is on a specific diet. A drastic change in a pet’s diet too quickly can cause GI issues and other health problems. If you don’t have your own pet food to bring, or your pet does not have any dietary requirements or restrictions, we will provide them with our standard maintenance diet.

We don’t advise that you bring any bowls or bedding or toys as these can get lost with ours and possibly not be returned to you.
