Why our customers love us

★★★★★

I love this place and so does my Maltipoo, Princess! The staff truly cares about your pet and are flexible with their hours. They have taken great care of her since the day we got her and even though we recently moved 45 minutes away, we will always use Paradise Pet Hospital! Also, vaccinations are very reasonably priced!

★★★★★

When I moved to Las Vegas 2 years ago, Paradise Pet Hospital was the first vet I’ve taken my pets to and will be the only place I’ll take my now dog to. I just recently been mourning the loss of my cat and they were there to try to help him till they couldn’t anymore. They have shown nothing patience and concern and for me during all the times I’ve needed them.

Our shelter cat, Angel, who we loved for 14 years needed immediate care. Paradise Pet Hospital’s Dr. Sumit Sabharwal provided compassionate care, diagnosis, and guidance during our visit. Ashley at the Front Desk and Vet Technician, Ashlee, were kind and caring and truly sympathetic. Heartfelt service was provided. We had to make a decision that would have been more difficult had it not been for the guidance provided by all staff. We thank them and the wonderful facility of Paradise Pet Hospital.

Erika Schroeder, DVM

Growing up in Henderson, Dr. Schroeder’s passions were clear in kindergarten: animals, learning, and playing outside. Over the years her pursuits mirrored these elementary school declarations through her dedicated scientific studies, work with animals, and conservation efforts in the wilderness areas surrounding her city.
She graduated from CSN’s Veterinary Technology program, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.

Dr. Schroeder is our lead doctor for Paradise Pet Hospital and her veterinary interests include companion animal medicine and preventative medicine. She enjoys being able to be a part of her community by providing care for Nevadans’ furry family members. Outside the veterinary practice Dr. Schroeder can be found hiking Mount Charleston with her pocket pit Winnemucca, scrambling around Red Rock Canyon, and playing with her ferrets – Pioche and Panaca, as well as her guinea pig, Truckee.

Sumit Sabharwal, DVM

Dr. Sumit Sabharwal was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at GB Pant University in India and graduated in 2000 before continuing his education with an internship at Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine to complete his ECFVG certification in 2004.

Shortly after, he moved to Las Vegas and spent 4 years working for a small animal practice in Henderson, one year performing veterinary relief work around the city, then opened his first practice, Seven Hills Pet Hospital, in 2009.

Dr. Sabharwal’s professional interests include preventative care, canine and feline dentistry, internal medicine, and all things included in practice management. He shares his home with a demanding, affectionate dog named Bayda and a special, spitfire cat named Bali.
